<p>Would it be inadvisable to write the influential person essay for the Pton supplement on the teacher who's writing one of my recs? He's definitely been an influence on me, and I think I could use that essay topic to better effect than a forced-sounding quote.</p>
<p>Just my opinion, but I think you should always write honestly about who influenced your passions and what they are. If you do, it will come across as sincere in your essay. Also, don't listen to what your peers say about your essay. I remember one kid laughing about my son's essay, yet my son was accepted and he wasn't. So, good luck to you and follow your instinct tells you to do.</p>
<p>yeah i agree with cma1. dont try to fake uniqueness. being yourself is unique enough in itself. (this sentence sounds weird)
haha i wrote about my mom. its quite an emotional essay, i hope pton readers like it.
i wish pton had early action... then i wouldnt be stressing (more like getting impatient).</p>
