Princenton Influential Person Essay

Hey! Princeton Supplement asks to write an essay on one of four topics, one of them being "Tell us about a person who has influenced you in a significant way." My problem is that I have already written the essay and it's about a particular person, who kind of represents a large group of people. I do satisfy the assignment - I've clearly stated how that person influenced me. But in the conclusion of the essay I switch the focus on that group of people.

What do you think? Should I write it once again or leave it the way it is?

as long as the essay clearly focuses on that single person, i think it should be fine.

I think that the focus of the essay should be around you. People tend to remember the fisrt and last thing in an essay, list etc and forget the middle. Make sure you are in your conclusion. Thats all i can say because I dont know exactly how your essay is written.

Thanks, guys ;)
