OK so aside from the fact that the Drama Dept. has a great reputation, and the fact that Meryl Streep went to Vassar - any info???

Anyone actually in the drama program atm??? Anyone know what drama majors have done after graduation??? What are the productions like??? Do a lot of people take the drama courses at vassar? any negative points on the department????

I don’t know a whole lot about the drama department, but I have taken a couple classes. Drama majors are very busy attending class during the day and working on productions at night. If you are enrolled in any acting/ production classes, you are expected to work on a production.
I’ve loved the drama classes I’ve taken, the professors were great. The intro class was AMAZING. You will learn a lot and think of theater in a completely new way.
Sorry I couldn’t answer your questions more specifically, but the productions I have seen were fantastic. The drama dept does a musical every year. Additionally, there a lot of student theater groups on campus that do great work.
