bump I have the same question as north_face. And if it is a good idea to let the colleges know, is it better to send them a letter or will an email work just as fine?

Is the internship for a national organization? If so, then notify them ASAP. If not, then you should talk to the admissions offices as well as your counselor about the need to notify the colleges.

Would email or fax be better for sending our info in? I'm assuming snail mail is too slow at this point. Also, do I need to show proof of it or just write a little memo saying the new accomplishment?

My D sent some new awards by regular mail back in late January...
