Input Please...:"the wait" is killing me!

<p>So here's my info:</p>

<p>SAT: 800CR, 660M, 700V-- 1460 in terms of old scale, 2090 new
SATII:
750 LIT
720 US HIST
600 MATH I</p>

<p>GPA: 3.91
RANK: 7/72</p>

<p>EC's:
-tons of music-- principal cellest in youth orhchestra, chamber ensembles, play in professional orchestra series-- this is my big EC push, and a huge part of my life
-VP school art club
-columnist in school newspaper
-volunteer algebra tutor</p>

<p>Misc.:
-took Intro. to Philosophy Class at local state college, got an A
-Recieved Harvard Book Prize junior yr-- a way of my school recognizing me as one of the best students in my class even though my rank is sort of lacking ( I take much more difficult classes than many of the higher ranked students)</p>

<p>i see that no one has replied yet, so i'll give it a shot. you are definitely qualified, but accpetance to schools like yale is impossible to predict. i wouldn't count on some of those top top schools, but i can say that you definitely have a fair chance at wesleyan and tufts. im sure you will be accepted at uamss and uvm. i don't know much about the others, but if it's not too late i might look at some schools that are inbetween the selectivity of say, wesleyan and umass, because that's kind of a jump. maybe that's just bc i am not too familiar w/the other schools? who knows. hope that helps a little.</p>

Old scale : 1360
New format : 2160</p>

<p>for every school except except yale, you have a great shot at</p>

<p>Tufts down, I think, nearly definite.</p>

<p>Swarthmore and Yale are reaches-- for everybody.</p>

<p>Wesleyan you're definitely qualified for on paper, but Wes has made really weird admissions decisions in the past.</p>

<p>And UChicago a near-definite too, especially if your essays are good</p>
