<p>Why does everyone feel bad about INROADS on this board?
Do people look down on you for getting your internship through INROADS?</p>
<p>Its not about how you get in. the end always justifies the means. when i didnt have an internship, if the president of iran or someone that the whole world hates offered me the opportunity to work at any ibank of my choice, i would have done so gladly. luckily for me, im in so i dont have such worries.</p>
<p>a friend of mine is currently interviewing with all the major finance corps; lehman jpmorgan prudential...shes a soph and these are all through inroads..</p>
<p>maybe in the first year or so, you'll get some stick for going in through a minority program but think of the long term opportunities and you'll be fine</p>
<p>I don't know why everyone hates on it. Jealous? I agree with the above poster, it doesn't matter how you get the job, as long as you get the damn thing. Even if you go through INROADS, you still have to interview, etc. INROADS and the sponsoring company wouldn't hire idiots.</p>
<p>Inroads cancelled their final recruitement event 2 days before the actual even began. I bought my air ticket and booked a hotel.... so stupid of me!! </p>
<p>Should have ignore the Inroads emails in the first place.</p>
