good god man

omg i have this huge fear of being the last one to post on a thread before it dies out!

i’m a girl : (

I hate failure:/

I’m a guy. :D

I saw a deer. No, I didn’t. A deer in the middle of NYC would make me lol.
But I did see a rat.

Failure and having people be disinterested in what I say.

^yeah, that actually goes for me, too D:

failure like everyone else on this board

and theres a pretty fast freshman in XC this year which is scary

Now my biggest insecurity is the school newspaper, which used to be my biggest, er…security.

not being accepted to any of the colleges i apply to.

My height, losing in something I’m supposed to be good at… I hate to say it, but I’m a generally insecure person. I’m always second guessing myself, doubting my abilities, and even anticipating failure… Is there any way to somehow brainwash yourself into being more confident? It seems like a stupid problem, but you can’t just tell yourself, “be confident” and just start being an arrogant prick

^I completely agree with everything; the height and failure anticipation. I am actually pretty insecure about myself, but I try to hide it. I don’t want people to think I am depressed:/ (I don’t think I am depressed, but I know my insecurities portray me as being depressed at times:/)

^^ I’d say I’m a fairly confident person because I’m comfortable with who I am. If I don’t like something, I change it, and if I cant then I just shrug it off an accept it as a part of me.

^That’s a good perspective. I like who I am too, but I can be hard on myself at times.
