(Insert lame plea for attention)

I am a senior at a high school in the DFW area with a strong interest in political science/government. I'm planning on applying to UT, UChicago, Georgetown, and Harvard, but despite all of these elite colleges listed, I like UT's vibrant atmosphere best. My real dilemma lies in the fact that I'm not sure whether the government program at UT, even in the honors program, would live up to the names of those elite private schools listed above.

So the real questions I'm asking are:

A. Could someone explain to me the prestige of the UT government program?

and

B: Is there a ranked list of UNDERGRADUATE a.k.a. not USNEWS, political science programs?

Based on the fact that I am not really familiar with the government program, nor have I heard good or bad things about it, I would say, if you can get into one of those top schools then go.

Top Programs in Political Science
I am not sure if that is undergrad or grad, but it should give you some indication.

thanks foxshox, any info is helpful.
