*What is an academic experience, project, class, or book that has influenced or inspired you?

Honestly, I had a difficult time with this topic. I guess I'm not easily influenced or inspired. Anyway, I had an essay for Stanford on an experience that was "intellectually engaging" that I did some revisions to for this topic. I don't know if it works or not but if anyone wants to read it I'd really appreciate it. :)

Assuming that it's well written, this will do just fine. Recycle wherever possible.

that's exactly what i did. I copied the STanford one and expanded it. I don't know if it's just me, but I find it easier to shorten an essay than elongate it. Maybe I should have written the Brown one first and shortened it for STanford. Ah well.

I'm completely the opposite. I had a hard time cutting out parts of my Stanford essays so they were the right length. For my Brown one, it was pretty easy since I just added a paragraph about how the experience influenced me. I think it looks good enough.
