All of the first-years are anxious and worried and shedding their HS skin and thinking about making friends with every person under the sun and thinking about claiming a new identity and change since they have blank slates.

All of the second-years are conditioned and know what to expect and have a good set of friends already and are still searching for the ideal majors and are confused but they have time, right?

The third-years are jaded and worried about graduate school and professions and whether or not they should declare ____ major or if they should start from the beginning. :( :( Internships too! cries OH YES and graduate school placement exams!!! :p

Fourth-years have to worry about graduate school applications and whether or not they are really applying to medical school. Blahblah!

you what mme-lin, you are very nice, i mean...if i need to know something, all i got to do is ask you. i feel like i learned more from you and all those other ppl on CC more than i have from orientation

But yes kinda freaking out that school is starting soon. At least... savoring my last, painfully lazy, lethargic days... reading and rolling around Janss Steps... that sort of thing.

labs and discussions zero week (not lectures) are usually canceled since you would be off-track from all the other lab students who have lab earlier in the week. you should get an email from your professor/ta to notify you not to show up (could be as late as the morning of the class date), but expect to show up in case you never get it (sometimes if they're really lazy, it'll end up being a post outside the lab door after you walked all the way out there, but usually they're not that cruel)
