I have opened a similare topic in International student forum. So I am an international student and english is not my mother tongue, i will take a course for TOEFL and I will take the exam; but for SAT and SAT II i have no idea, of when should I take them, and when should I start to study...
I am 16 and I will apply on october-november 2011 and I will enter on semptember 2012. So I need advices. Which books can I buy? I want to take MATH II and Physic subject tests, but i would like to take another test maybe in Biology. I have read that barrons is goog for MATH II, but for SAT I, Physic, Biology ???

Kind of depends on where are you from. If you are Asian, sure there is not a lot to worry about math and phyics.
I just took TOEFL last Saturday, and my ACT is this Saturday. If I do well on both, I can tell you some experience. But I cannot offer any help right now.
I am from China.

lc93430: Look at op’s location. It says ‘italy, rome’

As for op’s problem, I would say start studying for the SAT right after you see my reply. The reasoning (SAT I) requires tons of practice and memorization of vocabs.(well, at least for me). Try buy the notorious ‘Blue Book’ online and search for a good vocal list. Work as hard as you can and you’ll do well for sure.

Note: A lot of school have a ‘TOFEL waiver’ SAT critical reading score. In other words, if you can get, say, 650 on the reading section of the SAT, you are no longer required to take the TOFEL or any other language proficiency test for international students.

To prepare Physics and Biology(or World History, I’m not sure of taking BIology, I should learn a lot of specific vocables) which books do I need?
