I live in Canada. Is my Grade 11 Biology, Chemistry, and Physics courses good enough to do the SAT Subject Tests. I looked at the sample and a lot of the questions I have not learned.

Is it fair and what do most international students do?

I live in Canada too. I found that my grade 11 chem and physics knowledge (I didn't take the bio SAT II) was able to help me answer all but around 15 of the questions. I had to prepare for the rest.

I go to a school that offers enriched courses so we might have been taught some grade 12 stuff.

So yes, I would suggest you to study the prep books. A month or two should be good enough. I was stupid and studied for only one week for chem and physics, both 'til 3am each night :P. I got 760 on physics and 730 on chem.

chem 11 is no where near enough information for chem SAT II, you'll need quite a bit of preping. phys is a bit better but still quite a bit of preping. math 12 covers iic math 11 should be ok with ic. bio 11 and 12 with a bit ofa preping will do for bio.

you should check out french if you are taking it though.

I have a question though, what does being "fair" have anything to do with it?

America is free to choose how hard it wants its tests to be. If America's standards were the same as everyone else's, imagine the influx of foreign students that change must incur.

I'm also an international student, but it just means I need to study harder in certain areas.

Get some prep books, they will really help you. Good luck on your future endeavours!
