I’m a Junior hoping to go to a research program this summer to tackle some science that I’m interested in, and I hope to submit that project into some local science fairs, JSHS, Biogenius, and maybe even Intel. Although I’m pursuing these projects to use science in solving some problems that have hit my community and family, I would like to put it on my college application, as well as any of the aforementioned competitions if I place. Im looking to apply ED (typically Nov 1 deadline) to one college, and regular to about 10 others, so if I were to get to, say, semifinals of Intel, would I be able to put that on my app for ED? Or will Semifinals not be announced by then?
No. Intel Semifinalist are not announced until early January.
If you advance you would notify the colleges after that fact.
