I have thought about this for so long and I have absolutely no idea where to start! Can anyone tell me waht they talked about so I have some idea what they are looking for?

Is this like...school subjects?....Would a musical instrument count as something intellectual?! I have no idea, please help....

I think you're best off talking about school subjects, unless you take music theory classes or something like that. Just treat the question like a typical interview Q: What are your favorite subjects and why?

I talked about science, specifically my love of animals and biology (I'm applying AnSci). I referenced some of the things I've studied in school and then wrote about 3 or 4 other experiences that I've had outside of the classroom that have added to my love of animals.

Look at the programs at the department you're applying, or the department itself. Start there. Don't talk Music if you're applying Engineering or are a hotelie.

Not really. Make the connection obvious for them to see, but make them think that your answer was unintentional. Like, let them believe that your topic is related to the field of interest because it's truly your passion, not an admission strategy.

Btw, I hate the second short answer more. Until now I have no idea how to answer it. I mean, all I have to do is just take the courses.
