Inter college/high school facebooking?

oh yeah, the community college/super ****ty colleges being on facebook is bad too.

i agree with everything ppl have said. it's a horrible idea, and i agree especially with the fact that when photos were able to be uploaded, it started its descent into MySpace trash. I have actually nearly stopped using facebook (check it once a month maybe) because it doesn't have the same novelty it once did.

somebody should really let the guy running Facebook know how much ppl hate the new changes. hardly ANYbody likes them.

whatever. photo albums are awesome. most people use them as photo albums of events, rather than scenester dorks just taking photos of themselves.

each school still has its own separate network.
I don't like how college and high school kids can add each other now, but you don't HAVE to be friends with high school people if you don't want to.
so... I really wouldn't compare it to myspace.

I like how they've extended it to universities around the world, though. I can now add my cousin in Australia :)

Yea...I absolutly hate these things. I just had a huge falling out with my girlfriend last night because she left her facebook open (she goes to a dif. school so I cant view it) and I see she is still talking to her x......even though she promised me on a continous basis that she was done dealing with him. These things **** me off, why would you want someone learning/seeing everything about you who you dont even talk to? I understand it for friends, but it also makes it harder for people to move on when its so easy to stay in contact with EVERYONE...just my oppinion after being screwed by myspace/facebook in my last 2 consecutive relationships.

i'm in HS and i think it's a good idea. i can keep in touch with my friends in colleges, PLUS look at facebooks of students from colleges i'm looking at so i can get a slight idea of the student body (well, as much as an idea from a tiny picture)

I can understand why some people might be unhappy about the move, but as a high-schooler, I am happy about it. Not every high schooler is a scene-trashy myspace freak, some people just like to keep in touch with relatives or older friends. If the high-school/college feature is used maturely, I don't see anything wrong with it.
