who else agrees that this was a bad move on facebook's part?

I second that! I think facebook is for college and that's it.

BOO (10 chars)

I agree. I got friend requests from people still in high school. I rejected them all. Mwahahahaha.

lol.... the thing is...once you leave HS, you're GONE! You don't want to be in contact with petty "my best friend looked at my boyfriend and i saw them talking after class, now i wont talk to either of them" crap. so yeah... oh well.

its so dumb....i dont have that good of friends left in high school

Worst move facebook could make...that is, after creating HS facebook in the first place.

I agree!! I don't know why they started highschool facebook in the first place..

Well, they want to expand- what else could they have done?

i personally think it was a good move on facebook's part, to try and divert some people away from myspace (didn't really happen, but o well)

plus, if u really dont wanna be friends with hs people, just reject their offers. its as simple as that

I'm rejecting them and telling them they gotta wait till college!

The reason facebook is good is because it does what it does WITHOUT being myspace. Now it's degrading into that slime. I should have seen this coming when they began introducing uploading pictures.

the day facebook died is when they stopped being called 'thefacebook' and went to the new format, getting rid of all the cool ones and zeros with the guy looking bigger.

I personally like the new move. I mean, they can't join your groups or anything, so what's the big deal? Now I can be friends with my sister.

^ That's such a cute statement!

I have a strict 'reject all highschool friend requests' policy going.

putting community colleges into facebook was a bad move as well. community colleges are like the extended high schools.

my situation is completely opposite. one of my college friends urged me to get a facebook. got one and never paid much attention to it. after this thing, i suddenly got a flux of my college friends with requests. lol.

I agree Untitled... meh. It's cool that everyone in college can be on it... the top schools had it to theirselves for... a few months.

i'll only be friends with extended family from high school... i hope facebook doesn't start letting each person have their own background.

I'm in highschool and I even think it's a bad idea. People often go away to college to get away from their highschool; why allow them to be harrassed by kids who are still in it?

Also, it kinds of takes away from the exclusivity factor of Facebook, which I know is a pretty big deal to college students.
