<p>It says on collegeboard that UW has a intercollegiate men's basketball team. Is that different from the D1 basketball team? Also what is the difference between club sports and intramurals and where can I find more information on this.</p>
<p>D1 is the division of the intercollegiate sport. You can easily find your other info by clicking on the recreation/sports subheading under the Home page Student Life section. There are links to both types with much information. Intramurals would be more casual- think dorm teams competing against each other. The Track Club (separate from the running club) is open to more than UW students and competes in several Division III meets for CC as well as having regular training, including indoor use of the Shell next to Camp Randall. The men’s first team of the Track Club won the club national CC title in Ann Arbor, MI last fall.</p>
