So, while waiting for the decisions to come out, let's share with each other the experience that led to your interest in Stanford. What made Stanford your first choice school?

this joke i heard when i was like 7. “so these farmers went to donate money to Harvard. But Harvard was snoody and didn’t want to accept money for farmers. So the farmers decided to start Stanford and now its just as good of a school as Harvard.”
I’ve loved it ever since.

And high school summer college there sealed the deal. i LOVE the campus.

The unique campus. The freedom/entrepreneurial type society. Of course the sports are awesome. I love the merchandising, too.

Fear the tree!!!

I don’t think I can pinpoint exactly what made Stanford my top choice. But I think the whole process started out with me finding out about its renowned diversity. Then I did a lot of research, and I just loved everything about the school. Being 45 minutes from Frisco and having sunny Californian weather doesn’t hurt either Oh, and palm trees!
