Interesting article about college students living at home

From CNN:
<a href="http://www.cnn.com/2005/EDUCATION/07/19/back.to.school.living.ap/index.html%5B/url%5D">http://www.cnn.com/2005/EDUCATION/07/19/back.to.school.living.ap/index.html</a></p>

The article explores issues of how well students living at home adjust to college, as well as family dynamics with college-ages students at home. Interesting stat: 37% of all single undergrads are living at home with their parents.

Some kids do better at home for a while. I was one of those back in the age of dinosaurs. But I admit that I aspire to see my kids live on campus in dorms to have the "full experience" of college.

Thanks for sharing the article. My daughter, who will be a high school junior, insists she wants to commute her first year and then go away for the last three years. I personally have had concerns of how hard it will be going in as a sophomore, but she really wants to stay home for freshman year.
