I will have taken 6 APs by the time I graduate, all that I could fit in.

id say you have a lot of good matches, and a lot of good reaches.. but maybe consider adding in a safety or two, it can't hurt. i actually don't know anything though about grinnel, hamilton, reed, or oberlin. i think the others, bc of their selectivity, range from high match-low reach to reach..

your writing score isn't really going to hurt you at most schools.. because most schools don't really give it much consideration. so i wouldn't worry about it bringing you down.. although if you were competing with another candidate and had very similar stats except that it could hurt you.. but thats the only real circumstance i think

A bump for the time being.

Im also applying to Carleton and UChicago. I already got in UMich, but im in state. Anyway, chances look decent for Chicago, Emory, Carleton, and the other LACs. Northwestern will be a reach. You're into RPI.

Chance Me?

In a Wisconsin and most likely at Hamilton.

You might have a tougher time getting into Hamilton, because that school DOES look at the writing score on the SAT. Just write an essay that gives them no reason to further question your writing skills, and i guess you should also hope your recs mention that youre a good writer.
