<p>Not bad for a CSU alum.</p>
<p>The university you go to is important, but after a very short time in the market it all comes down to what you can do as opposed to where you went. CSUF is a great school and I taught there once for a summer. Obviously, this guy really knows his stuff.</p>
<p>He then went on to get an MBA from a good private school. The MBA program there is not too high in the national rankings, but it is one that offers classes to working professionals. Smart.</p>
<p>If you look a Bill Swanson, CEO of Raytheon and proud Cal Poly grad, he got his MBA at Golden Gate at night. These guys were students “in the business” not students “of the business”. Big difference.</p>
