What are the best CSU's for business. I plan to apply to one or two and Im just wondering which ones are the best.

I heard Fullerton offers good business program and also Pomona

Thanks for the help

Can anybody reccomend any others.

Long Beach I hear fares pretty well.

cal poly is great. my sat tutor turned down princeton, nyu, ucla, berkeley, among other top tier schools for cal poly SLO. (and no it wasnt a money problem)

Do you mean SAn Luis Obispo or Ponoma?

CSU Northridge I heard from my sis and cousin that they offer good business school... but I am not sure myself
CSUEB/ Hayward

For my money, San Diego State probably has the strongest business program of the cal states. They frequently turn up on national rankings of various business programs (their internationaly business program has been ranked 7th in the nation). The faculty is excellent and very active and current in their fields. Lots of opportunities for undergraduate internships and research participation as well. I must admit to some bias, however, as I did my MBA at SDSU - returned to school after 20 years in executive level positions and was very impressed with the quality and content of my courses.

thanks for all the help guys. Any other reccomendatins?

SDSU for business, without a doubt. I am quite biased though, as i'm a student at SDSU. SDSU recieved the most private donations (to the business school) out of any of the CSU's and was tied with notre dame for undergraduate business schools (according to "US news").

Would SDSU's business school be better than majoring in Business at Riverside?

i am also transferring to CSU schools for next spring and fall semesters...i am a history major and still not decided which school to choose. so far i got into sonoma, san bernardino, sacramento, and long beach. still waiting on northridge and fullerton. i probably prefer long beach, fullerton, sonoma the most of that group. any opinions? by the way, i found these rankings. it probably subjective and should chose more based on your major program, but the only CSU's listed among that top 361 college list was Cal Poly SLO and Sonoma. i hear Sonoma is a good school , but its a small CSU only 7,000 students. any thoughts on this? thanks

bump can anyone answer my question

re: doubleornothing's question -

yes. sdsu's business program rivals many "more prestigious" universities.

SDSU is probably the top CSU business school. CSU Chico and Cal Poly SLO also have pretty well known CSU business departments in different parts of the state. A lot may depend on where you're planning to locate after graduation. The CSU's tend to place their graduates in the surrounding areas, and that's probably even more true in business.

I've been to many a job fair at cal poly at know that companies come from all over the nation to recruit. Grads usually like to stay in california, but that is certainly not limited to the central coast.

As far as the original question, I'd say SDSU and cal poly have most distinguished business programs in the csu system.

cal poly SLO

CAn anybody rank the schools after SDSU and SLO. I applied to both but I dont think I have the grades to get in. So if anyone can reccomend the next couple of best business programs.
Thanks
