Interesting story...

Five days ago I got a letter in the mail from Drexel Univeristy, saying that I'd been accepted to their school for fall 2006.

The interesting bit is part is - I haven't sent them my grades, SAT scores, teacher recs, or an essay because I don't want to go there. I had filled out a prelim app way back in like April (when I went to their open house after touring UPenn), and I've since put them out of my mind - wasn't the school for me. So in my email yesterday is a message saying that my application is incomplete. The date on the email is a week after the date on the acceptance letter.

My college counselor thinks it's hilarious.

lol...strangely enough, i think that's happened to one of my friends

I hear Drexel's really desperate now. I guess they really are, lol.

Maybe they just looked up SAT scores off collegeboard and used that as their sole admissions criteria. Hmm, I don't know - it's still a funny story to tell.

:) Pretty funny.
