I'm going to be spending a lot of time on Princeton's campus and I was hoping that you could give me some suggestions. Thanks.

bump

Ha. I think part of the problem is that Princeton is largely called “The Bubble” because everything is so contained on campus. There’s so much going on during the school year, and so little going on in the surrounding areas, that most people aren’t that familiar with other stuff the area has to offer. Having said that, here are some suggestions:
- Try both T-Sweets and Bent Spoon ice cream. Also a Bent Spoon cupcake. Also the frosty banana thing from Bent Spoon. Mmm.
- There’s one tiny movie theater, The Garden Theater, that plays a lot of indie movies.
- Go to Terhune Orchards to pick fruit and buy cider. It’s adorable.
- You can rent a canoe or kayak right where Alexander meets Canal Road.
- If you don’t have a car you can go by bus really easily to Market Fair or the Quaker Bridge Mall on Route 1.

Seriously, sorry, most of what makes Princeton so fun is the vibrant campus life that thrives during the school year, when there are a million things to do. I lived in town after graduation and it was pretty sleepy.

^ I really appreciate the response. I’ll be sure to try out some of the things you suggested!
