does anyone know of any reputable "traditional" schools (meaning, not RISD or Pratt) that have great interior design majors?

The University of Georgia has a good program from what I understand. My D is interested in majoring in Interior Design- our GC-CC has suggested getting a BFA in Art History, then doing grad. work in Design.

Go to the Princeton Review site and search for colleges that offer ID as a major. I believe you will find a fair number of schools that offer the major without being the quintessential Pratt/RDI school. Princeton Review is excellent in indentifying schools with majors- especially the more unusual ones. Good luck!
