My son has been accepted at both the Interlochen Advanced Piano Program and at the BUTI Tanglewood three week program. The Interlochen program is new and gives two lessons a week plus work on a concerto a string sonata and a chamber work. Tanglewood also gives two lessons a week, but no chamber or collaberative.
While it would be great to get in all of the additional activities, his teacher indicates that he thinks the level of piano instruction would be much higher at Tanglewood.
Does anyone know anything about the level of piano instruction at Interochen or who the best instructors who are there.
Thanks
