<p>I am a spring admit freshman this year and I got into CLAS because I was undeclared at the time of my application. However, I want to major in environmental engineering now and I am wondering how hard it is to transfer to Viterbi?</p>

<p>It’s not too hard. I was in the same position as you. Monica De Los Santos will be your adviser (she’s the adviser for all pre-engineering students). You’ll take core classes, like Physics. Get at least a B and you’re in. I know somebody in particular who got a C and she got in also.</p>
<p>I always had the idea that you actually had to “apply” to Viterbi to get in, but it’s nothing more than a “switching majors” form that you fill out.</p>
