Internal Transfer from CAS to Stern

Hello! I am currently a freshman in CAS at NYU. When I first applied to NYU as a high school senior, I was looking to major in international relations. I did not think much about business even when signing up for classes. But after spending a semester and talking with other Stern students, I grew fascinated and interested with the incredible business program that Stern offers. This led me to want to apply as an internal transfer to Stern hopefully as an incoming sophomore.

In order to meet NYU Stern's minimum requirements to transfer, I am taking Microecon, Calculus I, and Writing the Essay this spring semester. Will they still consider my application even when I am in the midst of taking these courses at the moment?

My first semester GPA in CAS was 3.93.
My high school stats: SAT=2230, GPA: 4.35 (W) 3.84 (UW), Top 4% of high school graduating class.

My one big regret is NOT knowing of Stern a year ago and applying for it as a freshman.

You have fairly competitive stats. They take <10 internal transfers a year, so keep in mind the competition is stiff. For the course requirements, as long as you have either already taken or are in the middle of taking what they require, you are good.
