I’m a high school senior who applied to Columbia College ED, and I am pretty confident that I will get in. However, I’ve begun doubting my decision to apply to the liberal arts college instead of SEAS. I want to do applied biological research in the future, genetic engineering or drug synthesis, etc., and I was thinking that I would like a major in biomedical engineering better than a pure science major in CC. Is the liberal arts college fine for my plans? If not, can an accepted incoming freshman transfer to SEAS before he even started there?
