Im from Canada and Im having a hard time picking between Berkeley and a good Canadian Business Program. My biggest concern is the cost of education. Do international students get scholarships in later years or do they just pay the 45grand per year themselves?

Also, once you graduate from Haas how hard is it to find a good investment banking job? And presuming i do get accepted to Haas (although it is hard) is taking a loan of approximately 200 grand worth it?

If you take advantage and act on all your opportunities, good things will come. HAAS or a good Canadian Business Program is not going to matter; it is your choice.

You are talking about $200,000 of loans? Go to the canadian business program and save the money for MBA in US later (if you really want to). Yes, most international students pay $45,000 themselves or if they are lucky enough, be sponsored by an external organization. I would recommend only taking a maximum of $40,000-$50,000 in loans. You wouldn't want to spend the rest of your youth slaving off to pay such a huge debt, wouldn't you?
