International applicant- AS levels

<p>I am an international applicant from Dubai and am confused about admission requirements. I have given my IGCSEs in 8 subjects:</p>

<p>English as a First Language: A*
Maths: A*
Biology: A*
Chemistry: A*
Physics: A*
Business studies: A*
Environmental management: A*
ICT: A*</p>

<p>I am currently in year 12 doing my AS levels in Biology, chemistry, physics and maths. I am planning to do a chemical engineering major and was wondering whether I would have to do A levels as well to be considered for admission. I am really not interested in doing year 13 as it is a waste of a year and even though I might get upto 30 credits for it, I would still rather do all my 4 yrs in uni.</p>

<p>So can I apply with these grades or not..and what would my chances be?</p>

<p><em>8 A</em>s in my IGs was the highest in my school which means I rank 1 out of 160</p>

<p>Unless your AS results are as spectacular as your IGCSE’s, I would recommend you complete the entire A-level course because it is highly unlikely that you will get in on IGCSE’s and AS alone.</p>

<p>ughh I guess I will have to, for engineering atleast =( I shouldn’t have done the british curriculum.
