International application

International applications
Hi, I'm looking to submit international applications to a range of colleges in the US this year. I'm currently resident in Denmark, where I finished high school 2 years ago. My final exam result is around a 'C' on the american scale, so I'm a bit in doubt if I should even consider applying.

Im hoping to get into one of the many business colleges, and a proper one preferably. Let's say that i do very wel on my SAT or ACT, and TOEFL tests, and that the cost of the college is no problem. How well would my chances be? I'm looking at NYU Stern and such, but i don't know if it's way over my head.

So what i really just want to ask is, with very good results in the required tests, and good financial support, would I stand a chance at getting in at NYU Stern for example?

Thanks for your time.
Best regards

Bump. Anyone?

I think with a C average it would be rather difficult to get into NYU stern

what have you been doing for the last two years--that will factor into the admission decision...

I would recommend coming to a community college in the states and getting really good grades---and then applying

It is the route that alot of the asian applicants take (I live on the west coast)

I've been researching my options here in Denmark, and it seems an agency is willing to help me with an application to either Hawaii Pacific University or Pacific Lutheran University, is any of them good? I would like to apply for something a little more well-known, UCLA for example, would I have any chance at that one?

Perhaps I should let you know that im looking for a college who can offer me a major in either Finance/Banking or Economics.

With a C average, UCLA and pretty much any "name" school would not be possible. The schools you could get into would probably not have a reputation in Denmark when you are looking for jobs. Why not study undergrad at home and come to the US for an MBA?
