I recently transferred colleges and will be majoring in International Affairs this fall. In my previous school, I was a business major so i took most of the pre req classes already. I realized that I wanted to major in IB and take a minor in IA but the admissions officer just told me that the Business school is full. Do you guys think I can take classes for business in fall and then try and change my major again next spring? I'll be a sophomore this fall.

I’ve never even heard of the IA major. If you can’t get into the business school, choose an easy major and spend your time networking and on internships.

If economics is available, that is a nice alternative as well. You don’t need an international business degree to work in international business. IB is a very very broad field… I do international marketing btw. “International” is more about your connections.

Sometimes International Affairs is called International Relations.
