- Penn ED for Jerome Fisher M&T
- Stanford
- Columbia Fu School of Engineering
- Cornell Engineering
- NYU Stern

Thanks in advance =D

Why ask? ;)

Haha. Fisher M&T and Stanford seem to be particularly picky about its applicants so I really want to know where I stand. =p

um your SATs are really low... how'd you do on TOEFL also for STanford your chances are even lower b/c you're asian

Erm, maybe you misunderstood what I wrote there. "1600/2330" means 800CR + 800M + 730W (and in one sitting). The 1600 part simply refers to the CR+M part, which a lot of schools look at more closely than my writing score (I hope). And, no I did not take the TOEFL.

really low SATs? he got 2330 darling. by the way, the big schools usually don't require toefl for singaporean applications (apart from foreign PRC chinese studying here) because english is the medium of instruction from grade school onward bb.

anyway do you know liewqi? hahas. i find it a little coincidental that two hwach people suddenly show up, i've not seen many s'poreans on this place. i'll say you're in for at least one - you have an ownage resume and singaporean schools do send quite a few to the ivies anyways. yups. also, i'll repeat what i told liewqi - take the chances they give here with a pinch of salt. the whole thing bout being azn and having a lower chance applies with respect to affirmative action in the US, which im not too sure applies with int'll applicants anyways.

byebye (:
-fiona

you are in bro...no doubt about it...keep up the good work

you some amazing stats

I've always thought half the people on CC had my stats (or better) judging by the posts on the SAT scores thread. Maybe CC is bad for my mental health =p

Bump... anyone else have any other comments? Be harsh.

hey frank i just PMed you, hopefully you can help me out?

thanks

Honestly, nothing is for certain, but it pretty much is for you (I love grammar)
Unless you wrote about something stupid like pyrotechnics in your essay, you're in everywhere. Superb EC's, scores, etc. Thanks for chancing me, BTW
Best wishes (usually I say "best of luck", HA)

TJM

The stats of most ppl in CC are anomalous (in a competitive way) so dont let that deter you from applying. As for chances, I will be surprised if you didnt get in, you are certainly very competitive. Are you applying this year? i thought as a Singaporean male you would have to do national service first? I dont know if Penn would let you defer..

Penn does indeed allow deferrals, as with most other schools in the US (notable exception UCBerkeley).

Be harsh? Ain't happening :D

Good Luck from ACS(I)!

OOPS! sorry i read 1600/2390 as 1600 OUT OF 2400 wow i feel pretty dumb sorry im kinda new to this site

dude i want your SAT score LOL

@ije28- When I first skimmed through, the SAT scores jumped out at me too. Don't feel bad :) (Noobs unite!)

@frank- you're being harsh enough on yourself xD With that killer resume, a school would be a idiot not to accept you (and therefore, not worth going to anyway)!

Wow! i wish i could have your SAT scores too. good luck, from opp the canal.
