<p>im an international student, and i really want to know my chances of getting into harvard.
ive had good scores in high school and done a couple of EC's. Im not the best student at school, but im certainly above the average. I ranked in the top 100 scores of the state exam in my country. my sat was 1990 and my toefl was 114</p>
<p>The thing is, im worried because i read tons of threads of people who have done thousands of EC's, are in a ton of clubs, are valedictorian, have taken a ton of APs and have SATs of 2200+. So that has left a bit disconcerted.</p>
<p>The thing is that schools in my country dont have as much opportunities and stuff. There are like no clubs or or student organizations and stuff like that, so its not like I can do much more about it, and there are not to much awards that are given like valedictorian stuff. its like just study and get your scores. I dont know if I should talk about that in my interview (BTW do u know how to schedule the interview?)</p>
<p>Anyway, i just want to know if i have any chance of getting in..</p>
<p>To be honest I would look into other colleges that fit you as well, Harvard is not the only Uni out there (even though I really want to go there as well i know that there are other universities out there that can provide a wonderful education). Look into Georgetown, Bates, Oberlin and places like that as well. There are so many 2400 candidates that get rejected if you are on a 1990 with little ecas then your chances are not superb but who knows what might happen ? do you have anything thing going for you ? </p>
