International Interviews

So I've been sitting around waiting for an interview call, but havent received one yet. I'm wondering how many of you are in a similar situation.

By when should I start really worrying, if I dont get contacted? (I do understand that Dartmouth policy states that an interview isn't compulsory, but people in my country are getting contacted for interviews).

From the international applicants thread, only 2 or 3 RD people seem to have gotten an interview - the rest have not been contacted for an interview (including myself). They have very few Alum outside of the US, and even fewer who are happy to conduct interviews. If you don’t get one it probably means that their just aren’t enough Alum in your country or area.
It doesn’t put you at a disadvantage in any way apparently. So don’t sweat it. I’ve only been contacted for one interview (for Princeton) but the rest not a word. Even MIT waived my interview as they knew they wouldn’t be able to offer me an interview.

@thkd95 - No one I know in India got an interview! So you can chill!! :p

And didn’t you get in SCEA to Princeton??

I would have packed my bags by now if I were you!! :stuck_out_tongue: :D

Well, thats comforting. I know one person who has had an interview. But everyone else is in the same situation.

@Rishav, yes I did :P. I want to have options open to me.

I got one!

@jawad, when did you have your interview?

Last saturday

I’m having mine tomorrow
Any advice?
