International Official SAT 2013 November Discussion

Whos arguing that its not controversial books? Well such formulaic approach to reading (not picking extreme answers) might get you good scores. But it doesnt reflect your prowess. Please support answers with conclusive evidence.

Astoria, what is the qn on extreme.

Psych1 well I’m just calculating the chances…just mere speculation
Concluding from a 800 guy who did not chose uncontroversial

Half the guys here are trolls. Just saying.

Hehe I dont see myself as a disguised ■■■■■
Anyways…I think I messed up this CR…just hoping above 680
Not damaging my previous score of 720
(‘ㅂ’)/

Yup explain a prominent theory now I remember!

I’m not sure exactly what the “GoodScores answers” refer to?

@Psych1 by extreme you mean… ? Probably the same question on books if you’re talking about my reply.

Kazteq, not you mate. The guy you seem to be referring to.

Wharton did you get 2 NE’s?

Astoria, what qn on books.

On how librarians are responding to censorship - selecting only noncontroversial / librarian favorites

No. Was there an answer choice called extreme? In a different question

Extreme one…not sure
But what did you guys put for the first question for censor?
Passage2 puzzled by Passage 1’s position?

Yes, about how teachers/librarians are portrayed by P1. Extreme was the answer I think.

Yup 2 N.Es! One was the geese or whatever animal thing, can’t remember the other one.

Astoria…was that the first question of passages
lol you live in beijing (so do I)

Phew. I dont see where i messed up in writing now. It was close though. Had to do paragraph edit in last 5 min.
Ok, astoria, what was the complete option? Was there any other option called iadequate or something. Im not expecting much in this section.
Still cant get over the ‘undeserved’ thing. Harsh but accurate seemed right because of the order of the passage 2. Anyway many who wrote June 2011 agreed that the answer choices were ambiguous. Only consolation is that i got all the scs right. :|

Did you all take it in Hong Kong? LOL

Btw for one of the questions in improving paragraphs, they asked you to combine 2 sentences. Did you all pick “Nevertheless, when…”?

No Inner China also has test centers…so yeh in Beijing
What did you guys pick for the
Writing improving paragraph s
…the consider tobe and have taken thingy
