International Political Economy B.A jobs

Hello, I’m interested in pursuing IR and working for overseas companies, and I’ve been largely set on getting Econ/IR double major, if such an opportunity is given. Recently, I started to find out about all these extra majors that sort of combine the two fields into one, or present themselves as concentrations within majors. I’ve been set on doing Econ/IR, since I believe Economics would be a great major to fall back on if my IR dreams don’t come true, but for instances where degrees like International Political Economy are concerned, on an undergraduate level, would I have the same flexibility to use that for its Econ part in foreign-based Econ fields? Since in highly-ranked undergrad programs, like SFS, I can only get one major and concentrate my studies in IPE, I wouldn’t want to realize that by studying that, I will have to pursue grad school with little advantage for jobs on B.A level. Please advice in regards to actual usefulness of IPE major, other than a great entryway into IR grad school.
