Hi guys,

If I plan to do one of these programs, when will I move in?

And can anyone give me an idea of what international pre-or is like. I've lived here for five years so I'm not sure whether the orientation would be helpful. I tried doing some searching but didn't really get a sense of what it's about.

Thanks.

According to what I heard, intl. preor is mostly about visas and getting acclimated to American culture and stuff. (Banks, driver's licenses, food, whatever...) And there's also some fun stuff; I heard there were dances and trips to NYC and things like that. And you get to move into your room early. But I'm doing OA, even though I'm international, because I think it sounds like more fun and I don't really need all the logistical help with culture and stuff. Everyone I've asked has said intl. preor is great, though, so do what seems right for you. Hope that helped.

i just received the package about OA and it seems really fun!!!

however, at the same time, i can see the practicality/usefulness of choosing intl. preor...

i'm so torn between these two options.
