OA or int. pre??

hey i want to know who's going to oa and who to international pre-orientation. think oa's gonna be cool but ppl told me international pre-orientation is more useful. So let the list begin:

IO:
adides

OA:

IO:
adides
dianego

OA:

guess we'll be seeing each other on september 7th, adi!
by the way, i wanna ask something: if we registered online for pre-or, we don't need to send the completed registration card by regular mail, right? it would take ages until it got there, anyway..

From the other thread :)

IO:
adides
dianego
mirela
sucharita
keepthefaith
OA:

well at least on this board, IO is the mainstream. I've never lived outside of korea, so I thought i'd need some kind of buffer. whatever. see you guys there :D

IPO

adides
dianego
mirela
sucharita
keepthefaith

OA
Pavalon
Revan (?)

the "(?)" is so on the spot, sucharita! Revan is having second thoughts about OA, and this happens after what's been the best, most cool and exciting trip we've ever made together (well, it's also the only one, but nevermind :D ): in some rough mountains with lots of glacial lakes, where the snow is still around 1 meter thick in some places, almost completely void of human presence, and pretty challenging to climb to the top (2500m) with a 20-25kg "have it all" backpack... i... i.... just can't understand him... :D

but i hope the force (or whatever :D ) will help him choose the best thing for him, whichever that will be. For me it's OA.. i hope :)

OA...let's get wild...in the wild i mean...;)

Pav, I'm not having second thoughts about OA.
Better said i'm having second thoughts about not doing OA, since that was the initial plan.

It is the fact that I will be cut off from any form of comunication for about a week. For some reasons I can't really allow that to happen. At least not from the first week I leave Romania. Pav, I think you know why, so don't acuse me of not wanting OA. You of all people should know that i am a fanatic of outdooring. Speaking of which, see you in the Delta in 4 days!

I will do OA at Princeton, but probably not OA Frosh Trip. Promise to be the first to sign-up for the rock-climbing course!

So... probably...

IPO

adides
dianego
mirela
sucharita

Revan

OA
Pavalon
No Revan :(

YAYY!!! revan is comin to IPO as well...revan, i'll join u in any OA of your choice except for frosh trip

I'm sure that OA at Princeton is much more than the Frosh Trip. And if not, than in vacations we will come and do OA in Romania.

Here are some pictures from our trip to the mountains. Most pictures are taken by Pav (K), and some by Angie.

Retezat Trip

Hope you will manage, since it is a Romanian page. We climbed the highest peak in that range. So whatever you see there, we climbed higher.

Hope this weats your apetites for Outdooring.

Oh goodie, the IO community grows stronger and stronger:)
Rev, Pav, those pics left me dumb-founded!!!I went to Retezat too about 2 years ago, but it was in the beginning of september so there was no snow:(...I envy u guys soo much...:((...oh well, have fun and enjoy the wonders of nature for the less fortunate people around here too...:-<

Sad.

I'm an int., and I'm OA.

Why Sad?
If not for other reasons beyond my control and not really regarding me directly, i would go OA!

And i am still a strong suporter of OA, and i advise anyone (intl or not) to go OA Frosh Trip

If you can go OA, then GO! I don't think there is any choice between IPO and OA. OA all the way!

Couldn't resist any more. I tried to fight it, but I failed.....
I have just submitted my application for OA.

IPO

adides
dianego
mirela
sucharita
keepthefaith

OA
Pavalon
Revan :)

IPO

adides
dianego
mirela
sucharita
keepthefaith

OA
Pavalon
Revan
Mea. very hyped : )

i still do not know what to do....hmm maybe i'm too late to sign up for OA or CA...
international pre-orientation is shorter though..what should I do??

bump~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

:) krbx ofcouse i'd love for you to join us IPO, but honestly I think that OA is going to be much more fun. So if you already have your SSN, bank accts etc. taken care of, OA rocks

I signed up for OA~ idk which one i'm going to get in since it's late, but it'll be fun~ i'll meet all you international students during orientation!

you rock big time. Hope to see you during OA, although considering the small number of intls that go, i don't think they'll put two or more in the same trip... oh well .... :D
