<p>I'm pretty sure that Oberlin does not have an IR major, they do have a concentration in International Studies though.</p>
<p>Shadesfoblue is right - there is just a concentration meaning that you take classes in other departments but it equals out to a concentration (though you need another major too I think).
We don't have linguistics as a major either, though I know a linguistics class is offered in the anthro department.<br>
Foreign languages are supposed to be good for many of the main languages. Japanese and Spanish are full programs (I'd recommend checking out the course catalog). Italian is only offered at the beginning level and isn't a major.</p>
