Do you know anything about Syracuse University's graduate program?
Know how it compares to other schools, especially Seton Hall.
I am accepted to both graduate programs and am trying to get any addition input I can, before making my decision. I'm leaning towards Syracuse though.

It is just as good as the schools that I listed and certainly on par with Fletcher, JHU, and Georgetown's SFS and better than all of the LAC programs that I listed because it is larger, the professors are more prominent and because of its DC location.

Its graduate program is definitely not as well regarded as Johns Hopkins SAIS, Gtown SFS and Tufts Fletcher.

Personal opinion. Syracuse's public affairs program is great, but its international relations program is not comparable to the top tier IR schools. The quality of its students is also much worse. But there Maxwell schools for anything else besides IR is probably the best in the country.

I definitely know Syracuse is not seen to be on the level of schools like Tufts, SAIS, etc.

What I was wondering, is if it would fall just below those schools. Or is it, in your opinion, further down the list. (If there was a ranking, or if you could make one up on the fly) Also, what about Seton Hall, its a new program, but seems to be taking off well.

I understand this is not a question that can really be looked up because there aren't that many rankings out there. Just curious as to other people's opinions. If you care to answer, (or anyone else for that matter) it would be appreciated.

Question: What are good international relations schools with the best Asain studies? Not Asian studies as a major, but as a good program within international relations.

Also does anyone know if the UCD program is any good?
