International SAT Admnistrations to be Reduced from Six to Four

Reducing the international testing dates for the SAT to four for the 2017–18 and 2018–19 school years with administrations in October, December, March, and May. Recognizing that international students use both the SAT and SAT Subject Tests to build competitive applications, SAT Subject Tests will be available in October, November, December, May, and June.

Canceling the June 2017 international SAT administration, as part of the change to the international test administration schedule. SAT Subject Tests will be available during the June 2017 administration.

Once again the College Board is willing to do literally anything in response to cheating except stop recycling tests, which is the only reasonable action if you actually want cheating to end. Meanwhile, now there will be four recycled tests for the unscrupulous minority of international students to cheat on.

Maybe some of the tests will be new, unrecycled tests?

One can hope, @Plotinus , but I have to admit I’m not optimistic.

I read on reddit that the March 1 School Day test was the same as the November international test.
So maybe back in November, it was a new, unrecycled test.
