I’m a junior currently living in South America. Here, the SAT and subject tests are only available on May 2 and June 6. I am currently planning on taking the SAT in May, but am now doubting on whether I should take it in June in order to take the Subject Tests and AP exams in May. Can anyone please give me advice?
It really depends on where you want to apply to college. Only the more prestigious schools in the U.S. require the subject tests (Harvard, UPenn, Brown, etc.), so you might not need them. On the other hand, if you are applying to one of those schools, you should definitely do the subject tests in May.
I am planning on applying to all three you mentioned, plus Yale, Stanford, Princeton and UChicago.
Are subject tests offered in both May and June? I don’t think it would make much of a difference if you took your SAT I in May and your subject tests in June, so long as you feel like you remember all the material.
Thanks for your advice BrownHopeful27. Good luck with your applications.
Where do you live? In Argentina, there are 6 dates per year, I mean, all.
Hi, Argentina2017. I live in Colombia. I looked at international testing dates for the SAT & SAT Subject Tests and only found the May and June dates.
The College Board has not updated the website with the dates for the 2015-2016 academic year. If you look at the domestic dates, it’s also only showing May and June. As @Argentina2017 said, there are 6 dates.
Ok, thanks skieurope.
