International SAT I and II results!

say hi to our 14th page :)

Thanks, banedon.ashamed Making so many mistakes lately. I'm going to have to forsake my Malaysian citizenship!

Thread-filler. Okay now I'm reminded of how funeral home people sew lips of corpses with thread... freaked

Lakshmi, I'm sure you'll do GREAT. At least 750+ for Math, 650/700 + for physics? and unsure about French. Je deteste le langue de francais! (crap at French, too)

: ))) that's a creative way to waste space. :)

i'm gonna get a new camera soon! whoopee! my old one keeps getting blur images when it shakes a little. all my precious angela photos ruined because they turned out blur!

Angela? Was she the Miss Malaysia/Universe 2005? (I don't remember her name...)

Sometimes I wonder which is better...digital or non-digital cameras. With the former, it's easier to post pictures online and share with ppl. But with the latter, you can actually...FEEEEL it. It's like emails vs. letters. I LOVE getting letters. There's something so intimate about opening an envelope addressed ONLY to you and having it physically there... aawwww

plus, the quality of a non-digital photo is way greater than the digital one. :)

true, but it gets faded out.

what i do is print the most memroable digital ones. :)

Some people (not mentioning any names) have just too much spare time to just post post post :p

True!!! :D

i don't print any digital pics tho i do take "controversial" pictures on it. ;)

yeah especially...ahem.

wait. you're a girl. what kind of "Controversial" pics can you possibly tkae?

mmmm. I wonder what he could possibly be implying ... :p

Mar7aba laqad Odto (Hey, I'm back) !!!!
Yeah, about arabic, its very difficult, especially grammar. If u need any help just tell me!!! Ma'alsalamah (bye)

Yeah smth else (just filling the thread)
Did u know that the equating section was the 1 about the kitchen debate (I did very good in that section :()

what...kitchen debate?

And banedon: Wouldn't you want to know!!! ;)

yeah what kitchen deabate? it's so looooooooooong ago i hardly remember a thing.

Hmph...

"Controversial" as in..."gasp She was below 18 when those pictures was taken" as if! ;)

The one about russia and Nexonand Russian women workers!!!:D

C'mon ppl we have another 6 pages. Find smth? What about why do u ppl want to leave ur countries and go to USA?

laugh Maybe my challenge of 20 pages was a little too much.. :p

Well, I'm already overseas, not living in my home country.

I don't want to go to uni in Malaysia because I tried a college experience there and it was horrible. I realized I didn't fit in with the Malaysian culture and the requirements for uni were too...stringent. It was basically science OR humanities. I thought that was what I wanted or was most comfortable, but I also realized that I liked English lit classes and expanding knowledge of history. And also the fact that extracurriculars meant something to the high school/secondary school experience in int'l/American style school.

I suppose there's also the thing that the IB Diploma is somewhat worthless in Malaysia except for possible government scholarships/loans. Most universities don't know what it is and I would feel those 2.5 years of my life would be wasted.

I'm more geared towards the mindset and schooling experience/type of American universities/liberal arts schools, I think. My entire life I've been an int'l student and I would love to see more of the world, continue to experience a new culture and meet people of different backgrounds.

Diversity. Yep, one big reason why I'm applying to the U.S.

I'll contribute to the post total!

Is it OK if I just jump in? :D

I post one reply early on in the thread and ten pages later the nifty CC notifier is still faithfully reminding me that a few people have posted LOTSA messages after me. But that's all cool. It's fun reading about you guys freaking out. Strange how so many of us are Malaysian (yes, I said us). IzzyJ, I totally sympathize with the stifling: "Study. Be doctor. Or lawyer." vibe that Malaysia often gives off.

We love jump-in-ers!! (if such a word exists) We love other people joining and adding their own quirkiness to it. So, Jsn, why do you want to apply overseas?

CC does that...I sometimes forget what threads I've posted in until I get notified.

I wonder how many Malaysians apply to the US, and how many with AP credits, IB credits and A Level credits. And I also wonder about the breakdown of Malays, Chinese and Indians and if there's a significance difference between them.

Hahaha...it's already Sunday, October 23rd here, 00:48... I should sleep more. Make time quicker.

Though for ED applicants, I wish time would go slower for them!!
