yeah...mine also :D..... but hey, you may never know... ;)
GL banedon!

7% of total cost

what's GL?

my super reach university is i think Yale. Anyone applying to yale? i hope i'm not stealing anyone's spot.

GL = good luck.

Yale...Yale....wow... awed

Can't think of applying to an Ivy League.

why not? the main thing is to believe in yourself. afterwards it's just the lotery of admission.

Cause my GPA, SAT's and EC's are nothing spectacular. Besides Izzy-grin I don't have the work ethic for an Ivy. I need to be coddled a bit. I'm not a "ready-made leader" or "leader of tomorrow". I'm more of "background" person.

slavena, the most important and difficult question is this:

Why should we take you over thousands of others?
[quote]

what do you mean?

I think everybody should risk applying to a reach school. And it's not even a risk - you can't lose anything (except for a few hours writing essays). Remember, I'm applying to Princeton;) And, banedon, Yale is sort of slight reach for you, not a super reach, so go for it!

It's so exciting to read about everybody sending in applications. I can't believe I'll be doing that in a month! Good luck to everyone!!!

the quote thing never works for me

you might be right. meaning a non-ivy school might help you more than an ivy could. it all depends on the person. I absolutely think there are many non-ivy alumni/alumnae who are way better than many ivy ones :)

: ))) you need to put a / after the second [ ;)

ok, my last try:D

Today I have to talk to a representative of a foundation who registered me (I hope she's in her office when I go there, coz she actually rarely is) and she'll tell me what to do. But I suspect I'll really have to wait for the scores to be mailed.

It worked!!!:D A new day, a new beginning

:))) lets compare the SAT scores of the people from our schools. Would u please tell me thi highest, the lowest, the average and the mode score from ur school > :D ?

slavena you're so funny. and yale is a super reach, not a slight reach. and it is IMPOSSIBLE for U of C to be my safety...:)
