Was it ‘is removed before the exchange student arrives’?

Sent from my GT-S5360 using CC

@junaid123 I chose is and arrives, too. Did you move the sentence for the soap opera one?

Yess. Here’s to hoping for a 48/49 :/

hi, what did you guys choose for the question’ to replace the phrase take on’ in the soap opera passage?

@zhshsh44 I placed it as it was… but most of the people say they moved it to sentence 7.

Hey guys may I know what was the essay topic? Thanks

@shuffling
i mean the phrase ’ take on’. as for the sentence 6, i just leave as it is since its logic is right

@zhzh44
I don’t remember “take on”…

@shuffling
it is in the first sentence of the second paragraph. the sentence is like soap opera take on literacy issues and…

I wrote about NASA and Mars Rover in the Essay :D

@zhshzh44 sorry… I don’t remember :(.
For other people: what did you choose in the Soap Opera passage about the sentence placement? Leaving as it is or moving it to before sentence 7?

@ shuffling
about the sentence placement, it couldn’t be moved before sentence 7, and if you try to put the sentence after sentence 7 you would find the two sentences don’t make sense.

well, again about the phrase, let me remind you with the answer choices: address, aim for …

I chose address…

@zhshzh44 I also did as it was. But everybody else is saying sentence 7… :(

@ olalao
i first chose address as well, but as i read, there was a sentence’ …‘s soap opera promoted the literacy rate and …’ so i turned to aim for

are you sure about attend to instead of attending of?

At first i chose attend to,but sentence with attending of seemed more correct.

Does anyone remember the exact assignment for the essay. After I was done I started second guessing my self :/

I talked about how our inventions today aren’t creative. is that on topic?

The essay was basically that all our new inventions are actually just improvements of existing things and that we are not really discovering something new. On the soap one,I chose address and shifted the sentence and chose active voice.

what was the answer to the journalists one? was it journalists sometimes or journalists will sometimes?

It was a journalist,singular :P
