<p>I am an international student at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. i am from Ghana, a small west African country, and my country is on very good terms with the United States. I was wondering if there were any international students admitted to West Point, and if there are, how do they gain admission to such a prestigious institution? Thank you</p>

<p>there were 17 international Cadets admitted to the class of 2008 last year. I do not know how they did it, but I know that they are going to be commisioned in their militaries as Officers, once they graduate.</p>

<p>a maximum of two are taken from each country per year. It is usually one kid per country so you have to have huge political connections.</p>
