<p>I am a parent and I worked in the high tech industry for the last 25 years. My daughter is the editor-in-chief of her newspaper and she refused to let me read her papers because I have been known to be very harsh and direct. <p>BTW, my daughter got accepted to Michigan on early action. She is waiting for Georgetown, UCLA and USC. She is giving up on Harvard, Stanford and Princeton. Her GPA/test score is simply not “high” enough.</p>
