International Student Chances at Colby?

Hi guys! I'm thinking of applying to Colby for my EDII choice.

I'm an international student with FA (can only pay to 20k)
I live in Africa but I'm an Asian.

Do you think I have a chance at Colby if I apply EDII?
Do I have a change if I apply RD?

Thanks in advance :)

Essay: Good (not great) My friends and teachers say great
Recommendations: Very good - great

I think you have a good chance. I am an international student paying a lot less than you and I got in ED1. Also, as far as I know, not many international students were accepted in ED1 so there probably are a lot of spots for international students in ED2.

ED2… very tempting! Why did you decide to choose Colby in ED1? Like what are the key benefits? I’m struggling between Colby and Colgate for my ED2

I talked with admission officer and she was very co-operative and helpful. Also, colby seems to provide good aid to.inyernationals(i applied for almost full aid). The ones accepted in ED1 are all athletic- and I am therefore looking.foewfoforward to it. Colby seems like a highly ranked college with great acedemics but less “nerdy people”.
